The structure of the Saudi Arabian government is characterized by a monarchy, which is the foundation of its political system. At the top is the King, who holds significant power and authority, acting as both the head of state and the head of government. Below the King, there is the Shura Council, an advisory body that plays a role in governance by providing recommendations on various issues, although it does not have legislative power akin to that of a conventional parliament. Additionally, various ministries are responsible for implementing government policies and managing different sectors, such as education and health.

This system combines traditional monarchy with elements of advisory governance, rather than a democratic assembly or a military regime.
